So yeah. Writin' in meh journal. Only because I found I haven't written in it for a month,three days.

So I'll start by talking about my artwork. I need criticism. And not "lulz u phail" criticsm, either. If I want to improve, I need you guys to give me pointers on what I can do to make my work shine better. If anyone has any suggestions on what they want to see, please let me know. (Just nothing dirty. Violence is OK.)

As for comics... Well, I'm not sure. I'm still not all that confident in my comicbook making. I'll start with the Captain N doujinshi I'm working on, but I'll need a good site to host it on. If anyone can help me with THAT, please PM me.

And now, games. I've been playing Startropics II lately. Totally underrated game, outdoes the original in every way. I've bought myself a new SNES game, Sparkster, but there's only one problem.
I play NES and SNES games on a system called the Retro Duo. It is the most treacherous 8-and16-bit machine I can think of. If you guys don't have NESes or SNESes anymore, but want to play those games, stick to Virtual Console or buy the FC Twin instead. Retro Duo is crap.

Of course, I can just hear the groaning from the "fans." They're perfectly happy with Mario launching himself into outer space, but they absolutely can't stand Sonic doing something different, like turning into a werewolf or weilding a sword. (By the way, the design for the sword is badass.) No, no, absolutely not. After all, we buy games from series that just do the exact same thing over and over again like GTA and Halo and give them 10 out of 10s. We're the ones who are totally right. We're not being biased, we're just being assholes.
I keep reading comments by people saying that Sonic is ripping off Zelda. This is not so. SatBK is based on the King Arthur mythos. To claim that he's going to land in a place similar to Hyrule only proves that no one is willing to even investigate. They just want to bellyache because that's the easy thing to do.
I don't see why everyone's complaining about it. It doesn't look bad so far. I mean, they only take one look at the NP cover and cringe. UH-OH! Sonic's doing something DIFFERENT! (I find it funny no one laughed at Mario's bumble-bee costume in Galaxy, but they don't appreciate Sonic having a a badass glove, holding a badass sword?! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!) So Mario can be a bumble bee, or a superhero, or a raccoon, or a jerk, or a tree, and he can just get away with it. But oh no, we can't have Sonic do anything to make him seem more unique because of his weird experiences and odd forays. No superpowers. Right.
Come on, guys, whatever happened to your capacity to have FUN? Sonic Unleashed looks awesome, Sonic Chronicles looks awesome, and this new Black Knight game looks pretty thrilling so far. The Sonic fandom just can't be pleased. They're like a crowd of fascistic evolutionists I once walked into (I don't believe in evolution). They will absolutely not allow you, or anyone else, to believe other than what's popular, even if you can disprove it.

Wow, I just ranted on quite a bit there. Well, anyway, it's WAY too early to judge SatBK right yet, so it's not worth it to just piss and moan about how you think Sega is "killing" Sonic. I mean, even if the game turns out to be a dud, Chronicles and Unleashed look like they can more than make up for it. If Tomb Raider can come back from the dead, I think Sonic can too.
